Greetings Friends:
Thank you for taking time out and stopping by to visit. The election is over for me. We had an uphill battle this year and we fought a clean fight, but we came up short.
I just want to thank all of the good people in North Hodge that supported me in the recent election. I do ask that you do not believe unfounded rumors about me concerning theft or wrongdoings, etc. These falsehoods were orchestrated to hurt me in the election, a strategy that worked very effectively.
None of that matters now, because the man upstairs obviously has another plan for me and I will continue to serve our community in other capacities.
Also, I am seeing some bitterness on behalf of some of my strongest supporters. I hate to see any bitterness towards any of our neighbors. We have to move on and embrace whoever the people elect as our next Mayor. Now is the time to start putting the village back together. I will continue to serve you in my official capacity until December 31, 2010, at which time we will hand the reigns to a new incoming board. Thank you so much.

Too often in politics, large and small, I feel your representation or voice gets lost. Since we can not all go to every town hall meeting, we have to elect three representatives to go to speak for us. I feel that these three alderman hand picked by the people should represent what you want, not a personal agenda. I feel one of the greatest freedoms we have is to vote and I truly believe your vote is your voice.
